LECTURER | Issam Ghazzawi

Issam Ghazzawi is the Professor of Management and the Sam Walton Fellow at the University of La Verne. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and his Masters in Labor and Human Resources from the Ohio State University. He received numerous academic and community awards including: The Jack Kahl Entrepreneurial Leadership Award (2018); the Pomona Board of Education Service Award (2018); the Excellence in Teaching Award (2014); the Best Paper Award from the Int. Research Ex. Conf. (Hong Kong, 2017); The ULV Academy (2016); the Best Case Award. Café Britt: A Costa Rica Pride, from the WCA (2013); and the Distinguished Research Award, from the Institute for Global Business Research. His research focuses on job satisfaction, organizational challenges, organizational effectiveness, and leadership. He published articles and business cases in over 30 journals.
