PROFESSOR | Marcus Nakagawa

Marcus Nakagawa is a Brazilian advertiser, professor, and social entrepreneur. He holds a degree in Marketing and Advertising from ESPM-SP, a master’s in Business Administration from PUC-SP, and a PhD in Sustainability from EACH-USP. Nakagawa is a professor at ESPM, coordinator of the ESPM Center for Socio-Environmental Development, and a speaker on sustainability, entrepreneurship, and lifestyle. He is also the founder of the Brazilian Association of Professionals for Sustainable Development and has worked in the sustainability field for several private companies. In 2018, he published the book 101 Days with More Sustainable Actions to Change the World (Labrador Publishing), in which he outlines various actions that can be taken in support of the sustainability movement. For this book, Nakagawa won the Jabuti Prize in 2019 in the category of “Creative Economy.”
